These terms apply to crawlbeacon.com and its tools ("CrawlBeacon", "the service"), operated by Aneesh G, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India ("we", "us"). By using CrawlBeacon you agree to them. If you use it for an organisation, you agree on its behalf.
1. The service
CrawlBeacon provides technical SEO tools (such as sitemap, robots.txt, link, redirect, image and AI bot access checks), saved reports, share links and optional weekly monitoring with email alerts. We may add, change or remove features over time.
2. Accounts
You can use the tools without an account. To save scans across devices or turn on monitoring, you sign in with Google. Keep your Google account secure; you're responsible for activity under your CrawlBeacon account. You must be at least 16 to use CrawlBeacon.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to:
- Only check websites you own or are authorised to test. Our tools send requests from our servers to the sites you enter, including requests that identify as search and AI crawlers.
- Not use CrawlBeacon to overload, attack, probe for vulnerabilities in, or disrupt any website, network or our own service.
- Not get around usage limits, rate limits or plan limits, for example with many accounts or automated scripts.
- Not use CrawlBeacon for anything illegal, or to collect other people's personal data.
We may limit, suspend or close access that breaks these rules or puts others at risk.
4. Results are guidance, not guarantees
Our results reflect what our servers could see at the time of the check. Websites, firewalls, search engines and AI companies change their behaviour and may treat our requests differently from real crawlers (for example, firewalls that verify bots by IP address). Results can be incomplete or wrong. Use them as guidance and check important decisions yourself.
5. Free plan
The free plan is provided free of charge with limits (for example on monitored sites, saved scans and history). We may change those limits or the free plan itself; for significant changes we'll give notice on the site.
6. Paid plans
(Applies once paid plans are available.)
- Paid plans are billed in advance through Razorpay, monthly unless stated otherwise, and renew automatically until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds are handled under a refund policy we'll publish on this site before paid plans open.
- Prices may change; we'll tell subscribers before a change applies to them.
- Taxes may be added where required.
7. Share links and your content
You keep the rights to what you enter (such as URLs and labels). You let us store and process it to run the service. If you create a share link, anyone with the link can see that report until you turn the link off.
8. Our service
CrawlBeacon's software, design, text and data (including our published research) belong to us or our licensors. You may quote our published research with credit and a link. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
9. Third-party websites and services
CrawlBeacon checks and links to websites we don't control and relies on third-party providers (listed in our Privacy Policy). We aren't responsible for third-party websites or services.
10. Disclaimer
CrawlBeacon is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or search rankings. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
12. Ending use
You can stop using CrawlBeacon at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, or stop offering the service with reasonable notice where practical.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and for significant changes we'll show a notice on the site or email signed-in users. Continuing to use CrawlBeacon after changes take effect means you accept them.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, unless the law where you live gives you the right to use your local courts.
